Liz Darden
Liz is a social justice leader, a full-time educator, and a single mother of three. She has a passion to serve others and instill the belief that no one should be left behind. At the end of 2022, she was one of five nominees for a vacant city council position and was elected unanimously. She dedicates much of her time to encouraging community involvement by organizing special events. She joined forces with Uncle Selwyn to shine a light on the nation’s inequities. She co-founded Hope 929, where she remains dedicated to pursuing empowering solutions until our country reaches a point where every individual has equal opportunities to thrive.

Uncle Selwyn Jones
Selwyn Miles Jones was born in 1966 to sharecroppers in the Jim Crow South, and is a community and civil rights leader who has dedicated his life to creating social change. on May 25, 2020, Selwyn's life was forever changed when he witnessed the murder of his nephew, George Floyd, at the hands of Minneapolis police. Floyd’s death started a civil rights movement worldwide and Selwyn was inspired to create positive societal change in his nephew’s honor. Selwyn speaks at special events all over the country, providing solace to families who have endured pain from similar tragedies. Selwyn is also the co-producer and co-host of the inspirational podcast, Setting It Straight with Selwyn, which compels individuals to become leaders in their communities and inspires young people to bring about change.

Chris Johnson
Our vice president of call-center operations, Chris Johnson comes to us as a highly experienced call center leader with 25 years of demonstrated history of working in the media production industry as well as managing large U.S based and international call centers supporting the North East Division of the United States. Skilled in Service Delivery, Operations Management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Process Improvement, and Customer Satisfaction. He brings to the Hope 929 organization strong human call center vendor relations management and is a veteran of the United States Air Force that graduated from CCAF - Community College Of The Air Force.

Pamela Davis is a seasoned small business owner in the realm of tax and accounting services, with an impressive track record spanning two decades in the tax industry and 13 years of dedicated work within the accounting field. Her wealth of experience and skills are invaluable assets that significantly contribute to Hope 929's success. Pamela's deep understanding of financial matters, tax regulations, and meticulous attention to detail plays a crucial role in our organization's ability to navigate complex financial landscapes and make sound decisions for the betterment of our mission.

With over two decades of experience in logistics at FedEx, she has honed her skills in meticulously examining shipments. Cindy's keen eye for detail and precision is instrumental in emphasizing the importance of executing our mission flawlessly.
